Yamaha Corporations have launched a new range of True Wireless (TWS) earbuds in India. The new range of TWS Buds from the company consists of two models — TW-E3B and TW-E5B. The company claims that both products support the philosophy of ‘True Sound’ that puts users hearing health at the forefront, instead of just offering performance. This new range of TWS earbuds includes a variety of features and technologies and promises to deliver a detailed and accurate timbre in each note while taking care of the contrast between stillness and motion. Both these devices are equipped with Yamaha’s Listening Care feature that claims to take care of the human ear. Moreover, the company also claims that these devices can auto-correct the sound balance according to the volume to reduce ear fatigue and can also balance the difficult-to-hear high and low frequencies allowing users to enjoy music even at a lower volume.

The base model named TW-E3B will be available at Rs 8,490 whereas the top variant, the TW-E5B will retail at Rs 14,200. Both earbuds models will be available for purchase on the company’s official website.
Yamaha TW-E3B specifications
The Yamaha TW-E3B comes powered by a High-quality audio codec, Qualcomm aptX, that supports SBC, AAC and Qualcomm’s advanced aptX audio. The company claims this model has a compact design that assures a good fit even for smaller ears. The TW-E3B will come with four different size ear tips to ensure a custom fit for various ear structures. The insert housing on these earbuds will also have a non-slip coating for a secure fit and will be available in four colours — Blue, Pink, Purple, and Black.
The earphones support touch controls which can be used to — play, pause, skip and volume adjust the volume. Users can also manage controls through Yamaha’s Headphones Controller app. The Yamaha TW-E3B promises to offer up to 24-hrs of battery backup with the charging case
Yamaha TW-E5B specifications
The TW-E5B features Crystal-clear calls with an advanced mic design and Qualcomm CVC (Clear Voice Capture). It also has a smart Ambient Sound mode for users to be aware of their surroundings and a Gaming Mode that reduces the delay between sound and video to optimise performance while both gaming and streaming content.
The company claims that these earbuds have an “edge” to fit the ear canal and its oval shape allows the user to rotate the earbuds to fit in any position. The TW-E5B will also come with four sizes of ear-tips for both ears and will be available in two colours — Black and Blue.
The top model of the series also comes with touch controls to help users to take phone calls, listen to music playback and to activate Siri /Google Assistant. Users can also adjust custom EQ and other settings with the Yamaha Headphone Control app on their smartphone. The TW-E5B claims to offer up to 30 hours of battery life with an enhanced charging case that features battery life indicators.
